What does ‘payment initiated’ mean

Hello,
I’ve just sold an item on eBay and the buyer has tried to pay for it but has been told ‘payment pending’.At my end it says ‘payment initiated’.Where has this money gone? I want to know it’s cleared before I send it or is this usual procedure? Thanks

What does it say on paypal

IAs a new seller or infrequent seller your money would be on the 21 days hold for all new or infrequent sellers

If that is the case and the money is there and paypal say safe to send then you send it and put in the tracking on the item in your sold section on  ebay

You should always check paypal and only send if paypal says safe to do so

If the money is not there then check the email address you have on your listing by hovering over the £ sign to the right of the item in your sold section.

If the email address is not correct and you can use it then add it too your paypal account

You would have to ask the buyer to cancel the payment and then you send a request money from paypal
