Wanting to buy item and seller refuses to speak to Ebay!

I have a strange situation. I want to buy an item which no one else is interested in. The item was priced at £4 so I offered £3 but the bidding timed out and the seller relisted. I found that I was then blocked from bidding again on the item as a box came up saying I had purchased from her within ten days.. but I have not.

I contacted her and she claimed that she had been happy to accept my offer of £3 but wasn't quick enough. I explained that I was now blocked from purchasing. She recreated a listing but didnt seem to get that it was clearly something in her settings that needed changing. She offered to sell to me outside of Ebay. I have 150 feedback reviews all positive. I have always paid and leave feedback. I cancelled one item recently because I made an error and I know some sellers block people who have cancelled but I have never cancelled any item in over ten years on Ebay!

I contacted Ebay and they said the seller needed to speak to them. But she said she couldnt figure out how to contact them!! She still has zero interest in her item and I still cannot purchase it. I am tempted to report her if I am still unable to buy, assuming there is a ten day block since I last bid on her item, because I feel she cant even be bothered to sort out something fairly simple. Has anyone experienced any situation similar to this?

There is nothing to report here.

Yes,  the seller has inadvertently selected to block buyers buying **  amounts from her in  a  ** period.

She needs to adjust this is her Site Preferences for you to be able to bid.

No idea why she does not want to do this,  but if she doesn't,   it is not a reportable offence.
