Be careful when buying virgin TV boxes,they wont work as they need a card that is attached to an account that is a live account,and payable.It is also illegal to sell Virgin equipment,and doing so can result in prosecution for receiving stolen goods.Just found that out when I bought a box and complained .The seller never wanted the box back,as she did not want to return the postage I paid £5. cost £2.45p. she did return the £10. purchase price.I felt it was a sucker deal,and was made a mug of.Charles.

If you had opened a case for "not as described" the seller would have been made to refund the whole amount, and pay for the return postage too. Buyers are very well protected and the procedure is very simple, and you would have won a case.
With the amount of feedback you have, and a member for 5 years I would have thought you would know how to handle a return - either as a buyer or a seller.
I would never buy a piece of equipment like that from ebay.
