Vehicle listings - £14.99 listing fee every time a non-paying bidder uses Buy It Now?

Listed a vehicle on eBay. £14.99 listing fee, which seems a bit steep to me, but comparable with other vehicle selling platforms.

Usual eBay time-waster clicks my Buy-It-Now and then decides, without even viewing the car, that he doesn't want it and asks to cancel the sale.

My listing has now ended (early) and the vehicle is no longer listed for sale on eBay...but it looks like I'll have to pay another £14.99 to relist it!?

That can't be right, can it?

If it was on another vehicle selling website I could have dozens of tyre-kickers, and it would appear on their platform until I decided it was no longer available.

You can compare this to listing your car in your local paper,  if a buyer came inspected but didn't buy,  the paper would not refund you,  your advertising fee.

However,  the best ,  safest and cheapest way to list a car on eBay is via a Classified ad.  Initially more £19.99 but there are no Final Value fees to pay if the car sells.  The ad runs for 28 days,  you can end the listing after payment,  so no non bidder issues.

Select the business listing tool first,  top right of your selling page,  it's free and for everyone  to use,  then use a Classified ad to relist

Have you followed the unpaid route?

Otherwise you will be charged full selling fees.

you should use the classified ad option, that way you don't end the listing until someone actually buys
