Hi guys, I hope you all are well today.
I am selling an iPhone on eBay and I have received this offer from a buyer, high positive feedback, based in United States, has been an eBay member since 01 Jun, 2006.
I said he should make an offer to my product, pay for it and I will send it straight away, and I received this response:
"Yeah mate i understand you clearly but before i contacted you, i have tried to go through buy it now or bidding on another member item method but my account won't allow me to commit myself to buy the item, it has been long I used the account on eBay. I have informed them that I will use the seller question to buy my item Pending when my account will be re- activated. That was why I was able to contact you through asking the seller's question.I will appreciate it If you can consider me to enable me make the transaction through this method. So I will like you to provide the below information: PayPal Email Address: eBay item number. Remember to send it directly to my email or send a PayPal Money Request to my PayPal email: (xxxxx@hotmail.com) for immediate payment..."
Is this a SCAM? What do you think? Just trying to not be scammed here... Thank you in advance

Definitely a Scam. Will be a Compromised Account too, not his! Put him on your Blocked Bidders List.
Your Listing is set to UK onky. International Bidders may bid, but they can't Pay. If that happens open an Unpaid Item Case in the Resolution Centre after 2 days. Close after 4 Full days. Your EBay Final Value Fee will be Credited back to your Seller Account. The Non Buyer will receive a Damaging Unpaid Item Strike on their Account. Neither of you can Leave Feedback.
Post your Phone by Special Delivery. Ist Class only covers you up to £20.00 for Loss or Damage in Transit.
