Using a VPN

Can using a VPN cause problems as twice in 6 weeks I have had my account locked and needed to change my password. Very annoying!

Ebay doesn't like VPN, as they can't verify your location, so suspect dodgy account, it is a security protocol.

Hi, I guessed that is what happens but it’s annoying, especially as they don’t warn you. A warning would allow me to pause my vpn. The other problem is not being able to use the same password again.

VPN will cause problems where verification is required.
