Used camera does not work.

i bought a camera described as used, which I thought meant that it worked, it was not listed as spares or repairs.

The seller ad confirmed that the camera powered up, but had no card to test.

having received the camera it does not work.

it switches on, but the shutter does not fire.

where do the seller and I stand?

First contact the seller to tell them it doesn't work, using the option ' I have a question about my item/ want to send a message'

If they are unhelpful or don't offer refund on return then open a return request for not as describe, escalate to ebay after 8 full days if still nothing resolved.

Seller should send you a return label, enter the tracking into the case when returned. If they don't send the label then, when you escalate, ebay will send you one.

If the seller didn't know whether or not the item was working then they should have listed as spares/repair
