Unwarranted defects on seller account

I am a `top rated seller`, I post 6 days a week, and I always upload the tracking information / number before posting.

Why is it that buyers can leave `low rated detail reports` regarding late delivery or dispatch which show as a defect on my seller dashboard, when I have done everything EXACTLY by the book ?

The dashboard itself states clearly in that section "If you post on time and upload a validated tracking number, or your buyers tell us their items were posted on time when they leave Feedback, you've got nothing to worry about", but that DOES NOT stop the defect rating.

In the last couple of months I have had to call eBay several times to have late delivery / dispatch defects removed, all of them successfully.

Why am I having to police my own account, when eBay should be protecting my account automatically from low dispatch / delivery ratings when tracking information has been uploaded ?

When you offer free postage or have no communication with a buyer, they don`t even have the option to leave a mark out of 5 for those things, so why isn`t it the same for dispatch / delivery ?

Drives me mental, and makes me question my £500 -700 per month eBay bill......................
