Unwanted redirection to ebay.com

Hi, when using ebay.co.uk and ebay.fr I keep getting redirected to ebay.com.

This happens when I leave the search bar empty and select a category to view from the drop down menu and hit search, that's when it redirects to the american site. Useless to me.

This forces me to add something into the search bar to avoid the redirection but then limits the results to my imput. I want to view all results in a category.

I've cleared cookies, sorted registry and have no idea how to get back to normal.

Any suggestions or more info needed?

It's a site glitch that many are reporting here,  you are not alone.

We are told eBay are aware and are working on it,   in their own time it seems.

Don't know if this may help,  but try logging out,  and then log back into www.ebay.co.uk
