Hi - I followed the Ebay procedure to report an unpaid item... sent invoice... a couple of kind reminders to the purchaser over the last couple of weeks, but finally had to close the case as no response as that's the only way to get the Ebay fees back. Of course Ebay always tell you to package the item up as soon as you get a bid / sell an item - well, that was a complete waste of time! I see this person continues to buy/sell items on Ebay and there seems no way I can leave feedback to express my disappointment with the buyer - that doesn't seem right as they can just continue to do this sort of thing.
If you followed the instructions for your case, and closed it by answering 'no' to the question 'Did you get paid?' thenyou'll have got your fees credited and the buyer will have received one unpaid item strike.
Ebay allows one strike, if they get a second one they find themselves blocked from buyers who set their preferences to block those with 2 or more strikes.
Neither seller not buyer can leave feedback.
Go to Help and Contact and search Seller blocks.
