Unpaid item listed

I had an issue with a purchase. the item turned out to be fake. I asked to cancel the sale. eventually I got my refund, but the seller has listed it as an unpaid item. what should I do.

If you paid for it via Paypal through the checkout and have been refunded then the seller cannot open an unpaid item case against you.  If you paid direct by Paypal but not through the checkout then the seller could open a case but if they have, take the strike and appeal it quoting the original Paypal payment transaction reference.

There is also a bit of inconvenient eBay programming that automatically throws refunded and cancelled items back into 'unpaid' mode for a while.
