Unpaid item case

Could anyone tell me why I can't open an unpaid item case myself? Item sold 10th June and eBay won't let me open a case. Keeps saying it'll do it on 12th July. Why does the buyer get so long to mess me about?! I've messaged the buyer multiple times with no response and now I've found several feedbacks saying they haven't paid. All show as positive as for some reason eBay doesn't allow negative anymore?

It sounds like you may have switched the unpaid item assistant on and set it to open a case that late...you should be able to override it and switch it off so you can manually open a case

Thank you for replying so fast! Couldn't find anything in the app about switching it off. Do I need to do that on the website?

O yes, app is nigh on useless for most ebay things!
