Transfer items from one ebay account to another

Hello

I have some items that didn't sell and they are in my unsold items.  Can I transfer these items autgomatically to my other ebay account so that I can list them on there instead.  I believe it's possible for business sellers but is it possible for private sellers?

you can't transfer listings between accounts

why would a private seller want to do that?

and why are you selling used clothes that haven't been cleaned?

it is ebay policy that items have to be cleaned before you sell them through ebay,

you can't list an item and say:-

As the dress has been used you may wish to dry clean or wash depending on the fabric but this doesn't detract from the fact that the dress is still in very good condition.

you have to clean it before you list it!

If you bought a dress in a second hand charity shop would you expect the shop to have paid for the dry cleaning? It's the same principle. I don't know why you are making comments about my account as it's none of your business.

Based on my statement in my listings buyers can make their own mind up about whether to buy a used dress or not. It works ok for me and buyers. I don't recall receiving any complaints in this regard as buyers know what to expect but it's nearly always better than expected.

no, it's not the same principal, ebays rules are quite clear, items need to be cleaned before you sell them,

and charity shops steam clean items before putting them on sale, they don't sell dirty items!

If an item can be washed then I'll wash it if necessary but buyers, in my experience, haven't been put off otherwise they wouldn't bid. Also if buyers have any questions they can contact me. I'm a perfectly good seller and I do sell nice stuff, nothing that is in poor or unacceptable used condition (like stained, dirty armpits, dirty marks etc.). I wouldn't do that. If buyers are happy then I'm happy and even taking into account the policy (which I wasn't aware of) I don't see what the real problem is. There is only a real problem if buyers have a problem with my listings.

I asked one simple question and you came back questioning me about something that's not related to my question. I mean why did you even look at my listings? What are you trying to do? It really wasn't necessary. I don't know why you are so bothered.

With regard to charity shops, I never suggested that they sell dirty items only that they don't fork out for dry cleaning. I worked in a charity shop and I never saw items being steam cleaned just sent for recycling if they were not in good enough condition to go on sale but that was a long time ago so obviously things have changed since then which is quite understandable.

as you were clearly unaware of the ebay rule about cleaning clothes before listing them, I felt duty bound to point this out to you,

ebays rules are clear,


you need to clean worn clothing before selling it through ebay


and if you don't ebay can close you down.

Yes thank you, I understand that. Most sellers of used clothes would be closed down by now if buyers complained and I think so long as the buyers are happy then I'm happy with what I offer.
