I have sold a lens. Packed it perffectly and delivered by a tracked delivery. The recipient claimed the box arrived empty! He also stated the he threw the box away and wanted a refund. I naturally refused. The case went to aBay to adjudicate which decided in my favour. Now a few months later when checking my paypal balance I discovered that eBay actually refunded the buyer behind my back. Ebay did not notify me of that refund or any decision other than the one where it told the case was decided in my favour! This is the most despicable conduct I can imagine... Ebay also retained all it Final Value fees and so the byer received his refund - and no doubt has the lens too - and also eBay received its fees. I feel like I was robbed! I wonder whether the buyer was in some way associated with eBay so perhaps this is a case of fraud within eBay or whether corrupt practise such as these are a norm for aBay... Any of you out there have similar experiences with eBay?
If the buyer opened a not as described dispute then ebay usually will go with the buyer
Problem is if they went with you and you have only just realised that the buyer was refunded then you may be too late to do anything about it.
Contact ebay and ask them about it.
Before you do check all ebay messages and see if you can see any notifications
Check your account details on your MY ebay
You should have received some notices.
I think you can forget fraud corruption on ebay it could be the buyer appealed.
