Hi there,
A seller posted an item to me. Ebay is saying it's delivered AND that it's still on its way - first issue. We believe the item has been stolen as the package arrived this morning and the box was empty other than some bubble wrap. Seller believes someone has stolen the contents in transit which I'm inclined to believe. It's almost impossible to contact Ebay for help as they say the item is still on its way. Both the seller and I have contacted the police and the seller has contacted Hermes and Ebay. It's a complete nightmare. Does anyone know how to contact Ebay directly other than their automated service which is completely useless in this situation?
Thank you from a frustrated Ebayer!
You don't need to contact eBay.You must open an Item Not as Described case in the Resolution Centre,1 day after the estimated delivery date, the seller will supply a prepaid label for you to return the empty packaging and then refund you within 3 days of receipt, seller can also refund without return but may need the packaging to assist with their claim from Hermes.
Your claim for a refund is not dependant on the seller getting a refund from their carrier.
