Standard UK postage item won by overseas buyer won the auction but I don't want to ship abroad

I've listed an item with standard UK postage but an overseas buyer has won the auction. There was no contact from them asking about overseas postage.

I'm not interested in shipping abroad and the postage costs are over £100 so I wish to cancel the transaction.

Whats the best way of handling this without affecting my rating?

I understand they can't pay until I send an invoice.

I never realised the 'usual' UK postage would allow an overseas buyer to bid and will update my settings to stop this in future.

Your buyer won't be able to pay unless you send an invoice,

Complete a non payment case against the bidder (Start it 2 days after the sale) and close it after 4 full days.

Add their ID to your blocked list.

When you relist you should be ablee to cancel any bids you get from over seas. and block them.

They won't be able to leave feedback.

Buyer has now paid via paypal before I had a chance to cancel. They've switched address to a UK address without consulting me.

Addressee name is different to buyer. Is this legit? If I post will I lost paypal protection.
Postage is via ebay packlink.

Yes, as long as the address is the one given to you by Paypal it should be fine. Make sure you send it tracked Special Delivery.
