Spider in item

Thanks for replies the spiders were dead I have not fully opend the item I am just going to dispose as I would not feel right given a gift thts had a spiders dangle from it.

To me yes, you are but I like spiders.   If you're afraid of them (never sure why people are, they have far more reason to fear us) then only you can tell how much this upset you.   Probably not worth returning the item for though.

I am absolutely terrified of them I have my reasons.. I am just accepting I am out of pocket and a gift down.. I get these things happen and people have their own opinions I for one would not drink out of a glass tht had dead spider dangling from it

Truthfully?  Yes you are unless you have a true Phobia,  not just a dislike of spiders.

Was the glass dirty? It may just have been stored on a shelf obviously not upside down for safe keeping then ,  it must have been securely wrapped that it was received by you in good order.

Find someone to save the spiders,   trhey do do good,   they can live outside,  and wash the glass throughly for you.  You do have the choice of repacking it carefully and sending it back.

  I would if  it was  received in a filthy condition,  but   just with it's extra ' bonus'  personally it would be a save and wash for me !!

While it is rather unexpected, I think that you are overreacting.

You can open a Not As Describe case and seller would have to supply a reply paid label and on return you get a refund.

It would be far simpler just to wash under a tap.

It's ok I messaged seller about it I am accepting I am out of pocket and will be careful what I order in future.. Going to just stick to etsy from now thanks.
