Someone elses item.

I recieved an item that isn't mine.  The address is mine but the name is not.  I suspect it's just got the wrong door number on.  How can I find it's owner.  It has an ebay name on the address but ebay make it impossible to contact them for simple things like this.

You should contact ebay top of the page under Help and contact then scroll down for details

It is call me back or chat with us

If it not up to you to find the person who the item is for.

Contact ebay first and then give the item back to the Post man or post office not as this address

I tried contacting eBay all they have is selection boxes without the one i
need. There is no way to just ask eBay a question, it's pathetic.

You just choose any, It is possible. It may be you have to just keep trying. Other than that just give the item back to the firm that delivered. It is best to try and sort it as you may get more. Some overseas sellers are using any members address for returns.

There is no way to contact eBay. No matter what option i select it always
takes me back to "need more help" " contact us,". And it goes back to the
start I have a return address but they may only live a few doors down.
Ebay just don't like being contacted.

There is not a box for your problem. You just choose whatever you can to get contact details. It is possible as we have posts on here and we try it out ourself. Sometimes you have to wait until it is quieter. Try again later. If you actually know the person on the item then it is up to you to decide what to do. By rights you should return to the courier or Rm for them to return to the return address on the item
