So I had an item on watch & then the seller got in touch to make an offer

I rarely sell on eBay so is this new? How did they know I was one of several people watchng this item? In th past I have watched  an item , beause I have one, & would be interested in perhaps selling it.

sellers have now been given the option to send offers to watchers,

they are not shown who the watchers are, they just get told there are x number of watchers and they can send an offer,

the seller will only see your identity if you accept the offer

Thanks! I have recently had some *bleep* trying to access my ebay in London when I live the other end of the Country. Starting to paranoid I think!.

you haven't had anyone trying to access your ebay, there has been a glitch where ebay are telling you that someone has tried to access your account when there hasn't been any activity from anyone else, we think it has something to do with the servers
