I am a Uk eBayer.
I purchased an item from a seller in Germany. The currency for the item was Euros, but the total price was converted to UK pounds. However, when I purchased the item, I noticed my account was debited £592.45, which was £26.21 more than what the converted UK price was. Two days later, the seller messaged me saying the item I purchased was found to be faulty and could not be sent to me so they would issue a full refund. I received £566.24, which was the original converted price on the eBay page.
Can anyone tell me why I have not received my original debited purchase price for an item I never received?
