I sell the occasional item, as opposed to buy many things on line, via Ebay.
Why is it SO difficult to compile a sell listing, to include the elements that YOU want ( multiple categories, delivery by courier plus collect option)? Royal Mail always comes up as the "recommended option" - hitting "edit changes" only offers ' local collection - no delivery', rather than the courier option I favour.
Selecting a general area for the listing, offers additional categories, but selecting any of those, deletes the original selection. Have the devisors of this system never had a meal where the default is "chicken, chips and peas", not ordered the chicken and chips alone, or requested chicken chips and green beans? Why is it not possible to select a main category and then additionals?
I guess the solution is an "advanced" selling - but that conflicts with the occasional item seller. TOO Complicatede.
Use the advanced selling form, it is far more user friendly and not complicated in the slightest.
To be honest it's irrelevant whether you list one item every 6 months or one every 6 minutes, go with the advanced selling form, you will find it much easier to list the item as you wish.
the 'advanced' listing tool is a lot less complicated than the 'new' quick listing tool
