Selling for a third Party

Hi,

Is this a scam? Or legal?

I have been asked to list and sell items for a third party, where I would get a "commission" and the item shipped to the customer directly from the third party.

The reason being given is that the third party does not have enough feedback etc to sell the items they want listed?

This sounds very dodgy to me, and I know the seller is liable for costs etc, so I could end up selling X, and then passing money on and having to refund the whole amount.

Thoughts?

Known scam?

Or am I just parnoid?

It's a SCAM.

You sell, deduct your 'commission', forward the balance of the money and they never ship the item - you then have to refund the full purchase price and take the bad feedback.
