Selling fees

I have just sold an item today,total selling price including postage £52.90. They are charging £5.29 commission which means they are charging me on the postage!? Also this morning that hey sent me an offer stating £1.00selling fees for the next 48 hours fo anything sold no matter the price. Are they attempting to rip me off?

you are not being 'ripped off'

ebay charge 10% of everything you receive - item price and the P&P

the 'offer' is for items LISTED  after you accept the offer, not items that were listed before.

eBay final value fees are 10% on both the item and postage price (it's been like this with the postage price fee for over 4 years now).

The offer would only be applicable to your sale if you opted in to it before listing your item.
