Selling an old Honda CB 250 RSDC for spares, by auction, initially for £50.00.

I offered an old, 1984, Honda CB250 RSDC for sale by auction, initially for £50.00. I put Buyer collects, no returns accepted and "Suit owner with similar machinef or "Christmas Tree"for spares; many of which are new or nearly so.  No rust, both kick start and elec. start have failed.    I have seen total rust buckets on auction for £80.00 to £1,000.00, so it seems fair to say that no one is going to offer a working machine, rust free, for £50.00.

It appeared to have been sold for £250.00, more than I expected, though I would have paid as much if I`d owned a working, similar, machine. The buyer then contacted me for asurances about the state of the engine. I replied that as a honest biker, I could give no such asurances.

Buyer then apparantly lost interest but unfortunately it was then posted as "Sold".

I am now in a grey area, where I cann`t put it up for sale as it`s "Sold" already. I don`t want an argument or a blame game, I just need to start again including paying all the fees again.

I`ve only ever sold one item before this and that went very well, so I`m in unknown territory. I don`t think this was my fault, I made no claims for the article as a working motorbike, though perhaps, in my ignorance, I was partly to blame, for which I apologise.   HELP.         Cheers from       "very confiused.com !"

I can't see that it sold for £250. it  sold on best offer for £50

and there was a retracted bid of £250

if the winning bidder doesn't want it, I suggest you cancel the transaction using the dropdown menu next to the item choosing buyer requested as the reason

once you close the sale you can relist

You have been charged a Listing Fee £14.99 and a selling fee of £25.

You have not been paid, don't you think that there are more important things than relisting.

Look in MORE ACTIONS > I have not been paid. Open an unpaid Case, close after 4 days and the £25 selling fee will be refunded, THEN you can relist.

Add the Non Paying Buyer to your Blocked Bidders List.
