Selling Promotion

As a private seller I received an email from EBay on 8/10/17 inviting me to save when I sell - to pay no more than a £1 selling fee on up to 100 listings. The email said that the offer was valid from 8/10/17 to 9/10/17.

Therefore tonight (9/10/17) I actively opted in to the promotion and listed 10 or so items which took me the best part of 3 hours to do. However, only now when I look at the offer details does it say that the promotion started on 9/10/17 at 00:34:38 and ended on 9/10/17 at 15:59:59. As such I have listed my items outside of the promotion!

Can't help feeling that I have been tricked into listing items under false pretences. Under the T&C's of the offer, under the heading of 'When is it' there is no mention of any 'times', it simply says 'Valid as per the date shown on the marketing promotion' It was reasonable for me to believe that the offer would have started at midnight on 7/10/17 and would end at midnight on 9/10/17. As it turns out, the offer wasn't for two days, it was only available on one day (the 9th) but not even for the whole of that day - it was available for less than 14 hours on that date.

Can someone let me know what's going on?
