I sell postage stamps on ebay. Most of my lots are small value items. I charge 80p P & P on each lot. If a customer buys more than one lot I only want to charge them one lot of P & P, there fore if a buyer purchases 5 lots I would only charge him 80p and send all lots in one package. I have tried modifying my profile to offer flat-rate discounts but find buyers are automatically charged postage for each lot. I have had a number of occaisions where buyers have unwittingly paid this amount and I've had to make refunds.
All lots I sell are as auction not fixed-price.
Any advise please how I get over this?
Thank you
Mackemdick.
In your description put these words...........
" willing to combine postage. If you buy more than one lot, please wait for a revised invoice before you pay"
Then when a buyer wins more than one item, go to "more actions >. send payment details". This will bring up an invoice with all the items on it. Revise the postage, and send.
