Seller issued refund but wants me to send a payment via PayPal friends and family to cover postage?

Hi,

Seller has issued me a full refund for a t shirt that was a little bit big. When I started the refund the seller agreed to a refund minus postage. I have received my refund today but the seller has asked me to send them £2.85 via PayPal friends and family so they don't lose out on eBay fees. Is this standard procedure for refunds as I've never had to do this before on the couple of occasions I've had to send something back.

Thanks

It is was done through the returns and the seller refunded all the original payment but you paid the return postage then you dont have to refund anything.

That is ebay policy.

If you have made a private arrangement it seems not honest to go back on your word.

It is your choice

You dont have to pay anything

Payment by paypal through friends and family is right or bank transfer as you cant do it through the dispute or refund
