Seller failing to sell

I won a bidding at close of auction. 
The seller now took item off stating buyer asked to cancel. 

I won the bid and want item to be sent to me. Or compensated for it.  
ebay should guarantee that or heavily penalise ppl who defraud ppl like this when items don't pickup price they expect.

Come on, haven't you realised that no one can force a seller to honour a sale. You are a buyer and have the ability to leave NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, use it.

Can I leave a negative reply if he took option away from me to buy. Seller took item off and cancelled it. Saying buyer don’t want any more 🙄

Errr. I know it was a gooodd deal. But he has zero reviews. So wouldn’t really care
