Seller deleted items before refund!

I ordered two dresses but they were awful so wanted to return. Sent them back via MyHermes to the given address and it was confirmed as delivered. However the seller has said it's not arrived and wont give a refund. Since then they've deleted the items. Unfortunately I paid with card as they didn't accept PayPal. Can't contact eBay as the items don't exist and can't find a link to contact eBay about this as you need to click links from the items. Can anyone help?

If the listings had paypal on them as all do then you should have paid that way. DON'T believe anything a seller tells you, as it clearly gives methods of payment accepted on EVERY listing. 

 

Did you open a Return case as if so you just escalate to ebay. If you didn't open a return case then open NOW and add the tracking, the escalate to ebay after 3 days.

 

Why you didn't read the Money Back Guarantee, it is on EVERY listing before getting to this state I don't know.

 Doing things using the correct procedures and the buyer cannot lose.  Doing Returns YOUR way and you are then going to end up with problems.

 

You may have to go through your Card Company, but far simpler if you pay by Paypal as you could have done, as then if you are out of timeor an Ebay case doesn't work out then you can use Paypal to get a refund.
