I ordered a Dyson fan today, paying by Paypal £350. I was really looking forward to receiving it and have just logged on now to see that the order has been cancelled. The reason given by eBay was that I had cancelled it!!!! This has happened to me before and it is so annoying. Is there any way to tell eBay that no, I did not cancel the order. The seller cancelled it himself.
The reason that he says you cancelled it is probably so that he does not have to pay ebay's fees of 12.8%! You did pay didn't you as after a while now automatic cancellation.
If you feel it's worth it then go to "help and contact" and seach around for something relevant. there are usually "live chat" and "have us call you" options. You may need to be patient so that the agent understands what you are saying and what the problem is. EBay losing money in effect.
It will not help you [other than - perhaps - a warm glow of satisfaction] and you will get to hear nothing.
Leave negative and factual feedback. "Cancelled sale after payment" or the like. If you go into too much agressive detail eBay may take it out
