Seller cancelled item without explanation

Won a bed set it made it's reserve. I sent a message asking about collection etc to which I got 3 messages just saying item cancelled but on eBay they are asking me to pay.

If it is collection only and you are going to pay in cash then contact ebay and tell them

The seller can not just cancel like that 

If they cancel then it will say on the item in your purchase history

If you dont pay then ebay will start the non  payment function and on the 4th day the transaction can be cancelled by ebay or the seller and you ge a strike

Not fair if the seller is saying cancelled
