Hello,
My item I was selling did not reach the reserve. I didn't realise eBay took a massive 4% to have a reserve. Any way the item was relisted automatically at the end of the auction - I have ended the auction quickly as I will try to sell else whereof try without a reserve again.
will I get charged the reserve fee again if I ended the auto relist 5 mins after it started again? Thanks in advance

the fee for using a reserve was charged as soon as the listing went live,
you could try contacting ebay CS and ask them to waive the fee as you ended the listing, but I doubt they will agree
