To me that looks suspicious, I wold say ebay handels Paypal and not seller, and I received message from seller like this:
And, they are asking me to provide document outside of ebay. How can I report this?
It sounds like a scam
You do not have to send anything to a seller
You pay for the item and they post to the address you have on paypal no seller contact needed
Ebay and paypal are two different businesses so ebay does not handle paypal.
Forward the email to spoof@paypal.co.uk
If your item does not arrive then open a not received dispute in ebay and escalate it after a full 8 days
You can only open the dispute one day after the latest estimtaed day of delivery on the listing
You are also covered by the paypal money back guarantee if you fail on ebay ( which you should not)
No!! You do not have to provide any of those details, and it may well be worth calling eBay Customer Support to report this, however, no guarantee anything would be done, and you would not be informed of any action in either case. Calling early at 8 a.m. you have more chance of Dublin answering.
Have you paid for these items.? Then inform the seller you are following eBay's rules, that is, if the item does not reach you one day after it's last estimated date for delivery, you will be opening a case for item not received.
You do this from the Resolution Centre, link at foot of most pages. You escalate the case on days 9 - 21 if you are not refunded beforehand Never close the case early on any promises, let it run the full 8 days, and if not resolved in that time do not forget to escalate.
