Second hand phone issue

Good evening

Back in February I sold a second hand mobile phone to someone. She's just today (July) put in a dispute to paypal saying it's stopped working and she wants a full refund. I gave no warranty with the phone and it was working absolutely fine when I dispatched it. The phone was five years old or thereabouts and she knew this because it was the exact model number she wanted. I wouldn't have sold it if there were any issues. I've escalated the claim with paypal because anything could have happened to the phone in the last five months. They've taken out the money from my paypal account already so I can't use it at the moment.

Are there any knowledgable people out there who can tell me where I stand with this?

Many thanks

A buyer has 180 days to claim,  have they sent the item back to you?  They have to .

I would contact Paypal and give them your facts for them to process,  as they do delve into cases deeply before issuing a refund.

That money has not been refunded,  just on hold as the case is open for investigation.
