Hello!
I'm having trouble searching for items located within the EU - excluding the UK.
If I use "Advanced search" on ebay.co.uk and choose "From preferred locations: European union" - I still get hits for UK!
Wasn't Brexit about leaving the EU?
When I use "Advanced search" on ebay.com I can only choose "From preferred locations: EUROPE" - so I still get hits for UK - because it's located in Europe!!!
It is very tedious to perform the very same search on each and every eBay site: de, fr, it, es et cetera!
Is there a solution - this is very annoying?!?
I registered on the Swedish eBay site back in 2006 and when they closed down the Swedish site my account was transferred to the UK site - if that matters?

Based in Sweden with a UK registered account, you cannot exclude the default UK listings ... if searching for items from the EU is your preference, suggest that you transfer the UK registered account to a EU/Eurozone site of choice. Customer Services in the chosen EU site will assist with the account transfer.
The German .de site offers an English translation option ... other sites may also do so ?... or consider searching using the Euro/English language > https://www.ebay.ie/ < Ireland site.
the clue is in the ebay.co.uk
this is the UK site so you will be shown items from the UK
In a weird way I get what you're saying - but no matter which site I've logged onto the UK is still NOT part of EU, so the UK sellers shouldn't show up when I choose the EU option in advanced search?!?
How do I get around it?
I'd wish the ebay.com had the option "EU" instead of the less precise "Europe" choice 😞
