Hi, my question is if a buyer reports to eBay about an account being hacked what measures do eBay take, i.e do they look into it or just take their word. I say this because I had 2 buyers say their accounts were hacked, can you lie to eBay about being hacked?

The buyers can tell you their accounts were hacked as an excuse for not paying or claiming they didn't buy.

That doesn't mean they have advised ebay. Just treat like any other Non Payer and after 4 days, cancel the sale using "Buyer did not pay" as the reason.

If you get non payers, open unpaid case after 5 days. upto to buyer to sort their own issues.

No they both paid, but later claimed their accounts were hacked asked for a refund, i sold a playstation plus 3 month memebership sent the code through ebay message.

This is why digital delivery is not allowed. MBG does not apply so not sure why case was allowed unless you put postal option.d
