Scammed

I'm not really familiar with eBay but I was interested in a vehicle that was posted on eBay to what I thought was authentic and turned out to be a scam I was robbed a thousand dollars for the past 2 weeks I haven't been able to talk to no live person until a few days ago and I was told that they won't be able to help me get my money back but it's not my fault these scammers should not be able to get away with this and as a new customer I feel like they should take care of their consumers especially when they're using your Broadband to advertise false products such as the vehicle I thought I was purchasing I see that I'm not getting no help so I'm just going to go ahead and look into a power of attorney

You have asked this questionon the UK board. In the UK there is no buyer protection for any motor vehicle bought on eBay.

A quick glance at the buyer protection on ebay.com finds this: "Our Vehicle Purchase Protection (VPP) covers up to $100,000 for vehicle non-delivery, missing title, or major undisclosed defects. You’re automatically enrolled inthe program at no extra charge".

So get on to ebay.com asp and find out about this. Good luck.

This does beg the question why eBay doesn't provide the same protection in the UK??
