A MEMBER HAS CONTACTED ME AS HE IS LOCAL AND WOULD LIKE TO COLLECT FROM OUR PREMISES AND PAY CASH. THAT IS SURELY A BUYERS POROGATIVE. OUR DETAILS ARE AT THE FOOT OF ALL ADVERTS/LISTINGS. WHAT BAFFLES ME IS THE FACT THAT CONTACT  INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE, I HAVE RESPONDED THAT HE CAN COLLECT, YET IT IS ME WHO HAS BEEN RESTRICTED ?  FOR WHAT?

ANYWAY, WE HAVE NOW REMOVED ALL OF OUR LISTINGS, SO THANK YOU EBAY FOR BEING SO CO OPERATIVE, DICTATING, CONTROLING AND GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION IN MAKING SELLERS LIKE ME LOOK ELSEWHERE TO RUN THEIR BUSINESS. WELL DONE YOU !!!

Just guessing but the reason is probably that he got in touch before committing to buy?

EBay is - perhaps not before time - cracking down on sellers & buyers who do off-eBay deals. It is also one of eBay's conditions that items listed must only be available on eBay and not - for example - advertised elsewhere or available in a showroom.

Posting here will no doubt vent your spleen but I doubt eBay will see it as this is a members' forum.
