I removed head & tail lights to upgrade them for LED, I also swapped a gearbox in a vehicle, there is nothing wrong with these parts and still have lots of life left in them so advertised on ebay.
Do I still need a licence for this, even though I do not sell parts on a regular basis?
Many thanks for any help

What licence did you need before? You can't expect other members here to be familiar with licensing requirements for recycling motor vehicle parts. There may well be controls over disposal to prevent environmental damage. You're in the trade, so you're the one who should know what's required.
Keep in mind that as a business seller your buyers will have statutory consumer protection rights which don't apply when buying from private sellers. This would be especially important for safety-critical parts like brake or steering components. I imagine that you also have public liability insurance.
