Rude seller

Seller agreed a price then sent me an invoice for more than was agreed .I queried this and was accused of trying to get it for free even though I agreed to pay a price .when I said she was being rude .I gotore abuse so cancelled the sale and reported her to ebay

If by "seller agreed a price" you mean you "made an offer which the seller accepted " that is not the total price but excludes postage.

What do you mean by "cancelled the sale"? Buyers can't cancel purchases. You have to ask the seller to send you a cancelled request.

Why did the selelr want to increase the postage? Sellers can't normally do so, unless the price quoted is for UK delivery and the buyer is in another country. Is this one of the endless quarrels over deliveries to areas like the Scottish highlands, where couriers may surcharge to deliver?

You haven't really told us enough to be able to offer any meaningful advice.

I have asked her twice to cancel it ,and she offered to cancel the sale in the first place.i live in Berkshire not Scotland and the issue was the postage it was to be combined but then she charged me for double postage

Be careful if she doesn't cancel the sale, and you do not pay , you may well end up with an unpaid item case against you. Then, if you do not pay in 4 days, you get a strike on your account. One won't do you much harm but gain another and you will not be able to buy from the majority of sellers on eBay for 12 months..

Many sellers do not know how to issue a combined postage invoice, we can help her here if that was the initial problem.
