Royal Mail / Postman not scanning items sent recorded delivery - claims for not receive any ideas!!

hi has anyone any ideas - i send all my cds out 1st class signed for by Royal Mail ( its the only convenient option) - i am getting many claims through for item not received - the tracking system shows this as well!

 

However of the last  approximately 100 items i have posted within the UK only about 70 per cent show scanned at delivery - of the others i have had 20  postive feedback from honest buyers even though it doesnt show delivered - i have had 7 claims!

 

does anyone know if the barcode tracking is different to the QR ( square box scanning)  - i know my postmas scans my deliveries - but if he is off i have had tracked items not scanned!

 

The Royal Mail really need to insist on posties scanning - i am sure most are but some are not.  if you try to contact them about this the phone line is never answered - the email system is not replied to unless you file a claim.

 

its costs me a fortune and nearly going out of business!!!

If RM can't prove delivery for signed for items, they have to refund you.
