Why I can't see the reviews from an item as a buyer? I would like to see the rate/ stars in products but they don't appear in an item. This problem really put me off to buy

Product reviews are not shown on all items only the ones recognised by ean numbers and in eBay catalogue,even then reviews may not apply to the item shown as some are new others used or missing parts yet all have the same review shown,it can also be a mistake where an item has an ean for a different item and the review is shown against that

I think you're confusing eBay with Amazon.

On Amazon, star ratings and buyers' reviews are for the item.

On eBay, star ratings and buyers' feedback are for the seller.

There are no star ratings for products on eBay.

Hi there

Maybe I did not explain myself correctly. Few months ago in Ebay under the name of the item I could see the star rating of the product, but now I can't see any ratings, stars, reviews about the item.
I can see the stars and % of the seller, but nothing about the item.

In Amazon I can see the reviews, comments and ratings from the item.
