Returns ?

Not heard from a buyer for five days after the item was delivered ( signed and confirmed). Sent message to confirm they were happy and to leave feedback if they were. A day later asked for refund and “ would I like item returned?” Seems ebay is going to give the money back without but getting the item back?
I listed as no returns and tested item the day I sent.

You should never chase buyer for feedback, it is voluntary so no one has to leave any, they will soon let you know if there is a problem.

I have looked at 1 of your listings, it says you accept returns within 14 days, so ebay automatically allow buyer to do so.

Have to admit not sure it works with automated returns, but assume buyer will be issued returns label (ebay charge you), then you refund through case when item is returned.

Was no returns on this but messaged buyer ok to return it and I will refund. Just sounded odd they ? If I wanted it back. Of course I do its a £110 sold price item and its probably just a blown plug fuse. ebay removed the whole amount from Paypay already so held to ramsom. Probably going to increase my selling through Facebook tbh. The buyer is only 50 miles away so I can visit if he wants.

When buyer opens case, paypal put HOLD on funds, not refunded.
You only refund when item is returned.

No returns only applies to change of mind by buyer, if they say not as described, ebay allow the case.

And that's why you should never contact a buyer and chase for feedback. If there's an issue the buyer will always get in touch.

What reason has the buyer selected for the return?

Says it does not work. I tested it when I packed it so he has had plenty of time to tamper. Luckily there are anti tamper tells inplace when sent. Most likely operator error 😂
