Returns

Hi

i recently bought something on eBay and needed to return it. I clicked on return and give reason I then had a message off eBay saying I had to pay postage which I did, I then printed label took to post office, post office declined to take the parcel as it was too heavy for post. It said 1.2 kg on label and it actually was nearly 13 kg. So brought it back home contacted seller, seller didn't know I was returning I explained I had screen shots of the return and sent to buyer. The buyer said I needed to contact eBay as they don't use total mail only courier service. I have paid again to pist with courier but I also paid for royalmail and Royal Mail won't except . I only done what I was told. So i have to loose the payment of £3.50 .
thank you

If you bought the postage through ebay then it is Packlink

See the link and if you can cancel the postage

https://support-ebay.packlink.com/hc/en-gb/articles/208374049-I-want-to-cancel-a-shipment-that-I-hav...

If you are paying the postage then you can  buy it whever you want as long as the item goes back tracked or with the 16 digit post office code so you can add it to the item in your returns case
