Returns labels

I have agreed a return of an item and I have arranged to collect the item and refund, however eBay have now issued a returns label without asking me what my intentions were. How do I resolve this? And will they now charge me. I cannot contact them.

That's not how a Returns Case wotks. Buyer uses the Label charged to you and Posts it back to you. Once you have the Item back you Refund through the Case to get a Final Value Fee Credit. You won't get your Fee Credit if you Collect. You have already been charged for the Label.

Thank you for your reply - which I've only just seen, sorry. I was charged by ebay for the returns label however the item was a 'large collection' only and I'd agreed with the buyer I'd collect (local) so I was annoyed that ebay got involved. Still I've learned a lot since then! Thanks again.
