Is there a scam in which people use other eBay user's name and addresses to have buyers return things? I have received 2 pairs of shoes as returns from 2 different buyers and when I peel back the label, the original label shows they are from the same seller with return address being 49A Derby Street, Manchester. Looks like a scam to me but can I do anything? Report? I expect I will be receiving more pairs of shoes!
Yes there have been other reports
It seems sellers giving any address in the Uk for returns
Contact ebay and tell them
Information from the items will help ebay sort the seller out
I know of at least two sellers remove along with their items after others reported
You are right you will probably get more
Top of the page under Seller help then scroll down to see the options
You dont have to return them and if anyone wants them back it is up to you
If you decide to then you ask for a prepaid label
Did you google the address? I just did and it seems to be bringing up a derelict site
