Returning items from buyers

Hi,  I'm currently still a private seller and my account has a no refund policy,  however I do accept returns when they crop up.  However when I do accept the return I then have to pay for the return postage.  Is this usual or am I doing something wrong.  Thanks

Ebay will not agree with you, a true private seller is getting rid of unwanted used items,

you have 44 new & 372 used items currently listed, so are obviously running a business,

upgrade now before ebay force you to.

You always have to pay the return postage if the buyer says they're sending it back because it isn't as described.

You're probably your own worst enemy here because the only way a buyer can send an item back is to report it as misdescribed.

If you accepted returns, they'd be more likely to give a truthful reason and when they did, they'd be liable for the return postal costs.

I'd consider rethinking your policy.
