Just abit confused as eBay allow buyers to return items when they say not as described but it is actually as described by the seller
sellers don't stand a Chance do they ? Because eBay side for the buyer even though they are lying for a refund why state no returns when eBay make us accept them and refund the payment
eBay cannot check the goods but the seller can provide evidence if need be why not consider this they take the buyers word as proof ?? Look at evidence from the seller too give them a chance to fight there case it's only fair
ive been reading THE SALE OF GOODS ACT 1979 on eBays help and contact page this could help sellers with buyers that are wanting to return items sold in brand new condition no faults etc and the seller also states strictly no returns you have to put up with time wasters who do not even try the goods once recieved
but they know this cannot be a reason for return and make up some other excuse for a refund it's wrong and so annoying
so the buyer then lies about the returns for a refund When they say not as described
I've actually come across this problem myself but we still have to refund is not fair on honest sellers it needs to be sorted fairly
read this its off eBay
I quote SALE OF GOODS ACT 1979
If the seller is a private individual the goods must be as described but not legally required to be of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose this may help the seller we do have some rights to argue this case of buyers lying for a refund I think eBay need to look into this as I find this a big problem for sellers we should not have to accept returns based on lies and especially when we can prove it with photographic evidence surely eBay should give sellers a chance to fight there case what do you sellers think ??
Ebay have to favour the Buyer as they offer them the Money Back Guarantee. They need Buyers mote than they need Sellers. Part of the risk Sellers have to accept on here. You can Appeal a Decision.
