Hello, I have a problem that I could do with help with please?
I have returned an item (CCTV Stickers) back to the seller (once they agreed a return). I returned the item via the Post Office 'Signed for' service
The tracking number indicates that it arrived on the 26th of January 2021 just a couple of days after I posted it.
The sellers emails keep saying that they will refund me, once the item arrive at their warehouse? I then had a email saying it had arrived and they would refund me but allow a day or two for the funds to clear, followed by an email saying please return the item?
I have sent several emails and feel that I have exausted all efforts with the seller as they just keep sending me the same old polite emails but will not refund me.
I cant seem to ativate any help from ebay as I didnt print off the return label provided due to the costs (£3.80) being nearly half the price of the item I needed to return (£8.80) and as such provided my own cheeper return process. (Post Office Signed for)
Can anyone advide me please
Regards
You open a dispute an put the tracking on the dispute
Once the seller has it back then they should refund within 2 days
If they dont then you escalate the dispute to ebay.
If you opened the dispute have you put the tracking onto the disptue?
Doesn't sound as though you have done much right.
If you open a proper case, then there is no problem in getting a refund, you don't listen to excuses, if you have returned and have proof of return then if the seller does not refund you escalate to ebay who will deal with it.
Have you even read the Money Back Guarantee which is on every item, top right, that tells you how to get a refund which does not involve listening to the sellers excuses and lies.
