Returning an item after full refund given.

An item a buyer purchased arrived damaged, I contacted Packlink who said ask buyer to hold onto the item as we may create a formal investigation but it could take up to 30 days, so I refunded buyer in full, Packlink now doesn't want item back so I've asked buyer if I purchase a returns label from Hermes would be kindly post it back, he is refusing unless it's done through EBay which I am unable to as the case is closed. Any ideas please anyone, I have tried calling EBay but unable to speak to a human, thanks for listening.

Sorry there is nothing you can do now the Case is Closed.
